dignity housing for wildlife rangers
Inside the Nairobi National Park, there are 25 camps where rangers live in order to secure all the areas of the park to control the wellbeing, in particular, of the 125 rhinos and, indeed, all the wildlife within. These rangers have been living in basic tents
The Luigi Footprints Foundation has developed a project called Dignity Housing whereby we are preparing self-contained container homes for these very deserving rangers who put their lives out in the wild to save and care for our wildlife. Each home will have 3 beds, a small kitchenette, a shower and flush toilet, solar power for lighting and for hot water, and large water tanks to cater to all their needs.
We have, so far, built 4 of these homes, with another 21 more camps inside the Nairobi National Park to bring the Dignity Houses to, in order to have all these special rangers well housed. Each one of these fully fitted homes costs US$ 14,000.00.
We need your help to have all 25 units of our Dignity Housing in place. Any small donation will be much appreciated. If a whole unit is funded we will have a plaque put onto the home with your name or the name of your organization on it
